I finished the binding on the zig zag quilt. As you can see my zigs don't necessarily zag all the right ways. I didn't know notice this until it was sandwiched together. I am still giving this baby quilt as a gift. But I will make another one and get the zag zag right.
I need to make the binding for this baby quilt that will be given to the hospital gift shop.
This prayer quilt needs the binding.
You've been busy, busy, busy!! I love the colors on the prayer quilt!
ReplyDeleteLovely quilts, but you need to think of your zigzags differently. The zigzags aren't wrong. They are a "design element" to add visual interest :) It's all in how you look at it! I think the quilt look great. I love the colors.
ReplyDeleteYour string blocks look so crisp and perfect - beautiful! And the baby is going to love the zig-zag quilt (ps. the colours are great in that one!). Beautiful projects, thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat great quilts you have made. I never thought of donating baby quilts to a hospital gift shop. Wonder what they do with the $ from selling the quilt.....Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteWhat neat blocks and of course you know I love string blocks!!
ReplyDeleteYour string blocks are great. The zig zag looks great. Your zag and zig look good to me. and I'm sure the baby will like it too! The colors are great!
ReplyDeleteHeheh. Your zigs just hit a speed bump, that's all.
ReplyDeleteLots done. Good for you. Sometimes my 'zig' feels like your 'zag'. Shows we are human (thank goodness).
