Welcome 2012

What are New Year's resolutions? Something you say you are going to do and after a month or two you stop. This year I decided I can follow through if I break the year down in quarters like over at Quilter in the Gap. I think if I break down my list by quarters I will feel like I have accomplished my goals. Here is my first quarter list.

1. Finish this quilt. Needs the binding sewn down. This is a February birthday gift.





2. I have another quilt almost like #1. It needs quilted.

3. Finished hand quilting this postage stamp quilt. This is a March birthday gift.

4. Use up my flannel scraps making rag quilts like this one. I wonder how many I quilts I will have when finished.


5. I want to make Building Houses from Scraps 2012. I don't plan on making 366 houses but I do want to make some houses. Check it out at Jeanneke.


6. Make 3 baby quilts.

I think this is a reasonable list that I can accomplish.





Have you seen the 12 Days of Christmas Blocks? They will be a mini mystery sampler quilt. You can find the blocks at Temecula Quilt Co. Here are my first seven blocks. I am making two sets.

    Good idea of breaking your year into quarters. And, I love your 12 Days blocks. I am having such a good time with that little quilt. Today I need to make yesterdays and then we're done. Sniff. Hum, maybe I should find something else to take it's place?

    Looks like you'll have lots of finishes in 2012

    You got quite a bit done. I got your one entry but you can get one entry for each finished item. if you are on flickr you can add a link for a flickr picture. if not, let me know and i will add them for you.
