What are New Year's resolutions? Something you say you are going to do and after a month or two you stop. This year I decided I can follow through if I break the year down in quarters like over at
Quilter in the Gap. I think if I break down my list by quarters I will feel like I have accomplished my goals. Here is my first quarter list.
1. Finish this quilt. Needs the binding sewn down. This is a February birthday gift.

2. I have another quilt almost like #1. It needs quilted.
3. Finished hand quilting this postage stamp quilt. This is a March birthday gift.

4. Use up my flannel scraps making rag quilts like this one. I wonder how many I quilts I will have when finished.

5. I want to make Building Houses from Scraps 2012. I don't plan on making 366 houses but I do want to make some houses. Check it out at
Jeanneke.
6. Make 3 baby quilts.
I think this is a reasonable list that I can accomplish.
Have you seen the 12 Days of Christmas Blocks? They will be a mini mystery sampler quilt. You can find the blocks at
Temecula Quilt Co. Here are my first seven blocks. I am making two sets.

I hope everyone has a blessed New Year.
