Rileigh lives way too far away from grandma. So all my time there I was enjoying and spoiling her.
But there was hand work being done in the car riding to her house and home. I finally finished my charming star quilt and gave it to my friend for her birthday.
I sewed on lots of Beads of Courage bags. When I returned home I gave 20 bags to Cincinnati Children's Hospital. I probably still have another 50 to finish. I alway take these with me so I have something to work on when I have an extra moment.
And this little one was so glad we returned home so she could be rescued from being boarded.
Nina got a new dog bed yesterday because she chewed up the old one. The joys of having a puppy.
I have been sewing since I came home. I made chemo hats. I am still looking for an easy pattern to make hats using light weight fabric to make them. If you have one please share the information with me.
I made a baby quilt, blocks for a QOV quilt and I am sewing blocks for a retirement quilt but no rainbow blocks. I hope to have these finish soon so I can share them with you.
The Hands2Help charity challenge started while I was away. It is a fun challenge for a very worthwhile charities. Please take a look at Confessions of a Fabric Addict to read about it. It is not to late to join. Today there is a great tutorial over at Sarah's.
