Blue Blocks and Quilts

I have made a few blue string blocks.  I have all my 3.5" blocks squared up.  I need to lay them out so I can sew them into rows.

I finished the binding on the zig zag quilt.  As you can see my zigs don't necessarily zag all the right ways.  I didn't know notice this until it was sandwiched together.  I am still giving this baby quilt as a gift.  But I will make another one and get the zag zag right.

I need to make the binding for this baby quilt that will be given to the hospital gift shop.

This prayer quilt needs the binding.

  2. Lovely quilts, but you need to think of your zigzags differently. The zigzags aren't wrong. They are a "design element" to add visual interest :) It's all in how you look at it! I think the quilt look great. I love the colors.

  4. What great quilts you have made. I never thought of donating baby quilts to a hospital gift shop. Wonder what they do with the $ from selling the quilt.....Thanks for sharing

  8. Lots done. Good for you. Sometimes my 'zig' feels like your 'zag'. Shows we are human (thank goodness).
