A true charm quilt is no two pieces of fabric alike. You cut two charms and keep one and give one to a friend. You can read more about charm quilts at http://www.quilterstudio.com/ABriefHistoryofCharmQuilts.htm. Here are the 2.5" charms I have been cutting. I think mine will be a true charm quilt since my friend gave me all these scrape pieces of fabric and no two pieces are alike.
I plan to make a table cloth for my patio table. I have been sewing 9-patch blocks together. I am not sure how many 9-patch blocks it will take.
