Another Busy Week

I have been sewing on these little mini charms. I am making a baby quilt using 4-patches and a solid white block. I ran out of the mini charms and they came in the mail this week. I hope to get the other 20 blocks sewn that I need. If you want to take a look at the different mini charms you can buy stop on over at the Fabric Shack.

I belong to a Kansas Trouble group called Lucky Block Circle. We swap 12 inch blocks each month. The dutchman's puzzle block was June block. I am few days late in sending my blocks but they are on their way to their new owner. Our group has been doing this block swap for the past 3 years. Each month a different person wins and they receive a total of 24 blocks. This has been a fun group of ladies.

I remember now why I have a full time job. It is to support my quilting habit. I think I spent more time purchasing fabric this week than I did sewing. I am going on a quilt retreat in July and of course I need projects to sew. This will be a Christmas gift. I am using a 4-patch and rail fence blocks. The jelly roll will be the rail fence block.

I also purchased fabric for another Christmas gift. Miki made this quilt for her H2H challenge. I loved the pattern. Miki was kind enough to share it with me. Go have a look at all the beautiful creations by Miki. Thanks a million Miki. I plan to have the blocks all cut out before I go to retreat.

I am linking up to Sarah's at Confessions of a Fabric Addict so you can see what everyone else has been doing.
